Lets have a positive post

As well as Horse Racing, my other preferred trade is usually Lay the Draw (LTD) on Football matches.

Last night was a success as I LTD on the Italy v Israel World Cup Qualifier. I was watching the England v Latvia game in the first half and saw Italy was still 0-0. Looked at some stats and saw there is plenty of goals between these teams and only one recent 0-0 with either of the teams, which was when Israel drew with France, also away from home. So that was the only detail that was a negative in my mind.

So I started to drip in £10 lays. Managed to get £20 in before a goal was scored. I could have traded out at this point for around £9 profit hedged but thought it looked like Italy were good for another goal. I was prepared for Israel to score though. Anyway, Italy scored again and managed to lay Italy at 1.02 to remove liability on the draw meaning an £18 profit at the end of the game.
